We sequenced and assembled a high-quality genome of the elite maize inbred line CA7301 using PacBio long-read sequencing technology. The genome was comprehensively annotated, and we performed whole-genome sequencing (WGS) on EPS mutant materials using Illumina sequencing. SNP analysis identified mutation sites across the genome.

Mutation Effect Analysis: All genome-wide SNPs were analyzed using EVO2 and PlantCAD2 models. Non-synonymous mutations were subjected to protein structure prediction using ESMFold, followed by mutation effect assessment using ESM-1V, ESM2, ProtSSN, and SaProt models. All data have been integrated into the genome browser.
